Welcome to my web page!  How exciting it is to begin another school year at Pasemann Elementary!  I have a new role this year as the Reading Interventionist.  I look forward to working with and inspiring our children in Reading!  I wish to encourage all children to desire to sit down and read their favorite genre of book.   More importantly, I want them to understand what they read and be able to fully understand all of the parts of the book they are reading and to be able to have a conversation about the characters or favorite things learned.   Reading is the key that unlocks the whole world!  I aspire to inspire your child!

What is a Reading Interventionist?  Reading interventionists work extensively with students to help them improve specific reading skills such as letter-naming, initial sounds, phoneme segmentation, and comprehension strategies. An interventionist addresses the specific needs of a particular child when regular classroom instruction is not sufficient.

A little about me:
This will be my 16th year at Pasemann Elementary.   I grew up in Taylor just like many of you!  I am proud to be a Taylor Duck and an Aggie. Go Ducks and Gig 'Em Aggies!   I married my high school sweetheart.  We have been married for 26 years.  We have 2 kids in college.  I love spending time with my family and friends. I was born to be a manager and teacher of children...our world's greatest and most precious resource!  My hope is that my students will grow into people who love to learn new things and read as much as their teacher!
