What is We Are Girls?
The We Are Girls Conference, produced by Girls Empowerment Network, is a statewide, multi-city event designed especially for girls in grades 3-8 and the adults who care about them. Originated in 2008 the 2016-2017 theme is “Find Your Power.” Featuring skill-building workshops and dynamic presentations, the We Are Girls Conference connects girls to relatable role models and encourages healthy relationships, educational discovery, and creative self-expression.
When is We Are Girls?
We Are Girls, Austin will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016. Doors will open at 8am and check-in is open until 9am. The final workshop will conclude at 3:00pm, with doors closing at 3:30pm.
Where is it?
We Are Girls, Austin will take place at Austin High School, 1715 W. Cesar Chavez Austin, TX 78703.
Who can attend We Are Girls?
We Are Girls is designed especially for girls in grades 3-8, and the adults that care about them, including parents, counselors, and educators.
How much does it cost?
Early bird ticket sales end on Thursday, September 15th and cost $20. The regular ticket price is $30 for girls and adults. Scholarships are available to individuals and groups who are in need of financial assistance.
What does my ticket price include?
Admission includes lunch, supplies, and a swag bag, as well as access to three Featured Conference Speaker’s presentations, choice of 3 breakout workshops, resource fair, and of course, countless memories!
