Hello:
Welcome to my web page! I am looking forward to a wonderful year here in 3rd grade. I cannot wait to get to know the students and parents. It is a privilege to guide you through this 2018-2019 school year. Third grade is a such a fun grade and we will enjoy learning how to be critical thinkers in math and reading and explore new concepts in science and social studies. Get ready for an adventure!
 
A little about me:
This will be my 13th year teaching in Taylor. My fifth year teaching at Pasemann. I grew up in Jarrell, Texas. I am married to my best friend James who is a coach and A.P. history teacher here in Taylor. We have 2 amazing kids. Breken is 12 and will be attending TMS. Anistin is 9 and will be at MSI. I love spending time with my family and friends. My family and I love to fish, take long rides, and bar-b-q. My goal is that your child grows and learns to be a better individual all around.

Students are the ones who color in their agenda books daily.  If there is no color, then more than likely they are on blue.
If their color changes to yellow or red, I will fill it in.
 
We will have our field trip on January 25th.  Due to limited seating, it will just be the classes and teachers.

School will be closed on Monday, January 21st in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
 
 

Family Bingo Night - Jan. 18th

Friday - January 18th @ 6:00pm - 7:00pm @ THJ Cafe. Combined event with THJ! Pizza will be available at $1/slice, soda and chips for 50 cents! Bring your families for a fun, free event.
 
 

Class and Spring Picture Day - Friday, Feb. 1st

Class pictures and Spring individual pictures will be taken. Look for info coming home with your child soon.

Morning Back Walkers

We will no longer have a staff member assisting students walking from the back walker area in the mornings.
 
Students will be out of school from Dec. 24 through Jan. 8th. Students return to class on Jan. 9, 2019.

As you all know that I have not been at school in a few days.  We had a passing in our family and I needed to help with getting all of the arrangements together.
Thank you all for your kind words, texts, and support.  This time has been difficult, but with support, we will continue on.

A permission slip will be coming home tomorrow for a field trip in January.  Please read the information carefully and return the form and money.
 
I was out last week for a few days due to my sister in law being ICU.  She has quite a bit going on and I ask that you please keeps us in your thoughts and remind our students the importance of being respectful, continuing to complete our work (homework too) and do what is right when I am gone.
As far as my absences, it is literally a day by day situation.
I did receive great notes for the days I was out.  There is a few improvements needed, but I am delighted to hear of the good decisions this amazing class made.
 
Thank you to those who have reached out and sent messages.  I am truly blessed with great guardians and students.

Christmas Bazaar - December 6th

Naomi Pasemann Elementary will be having it's annual Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 6th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The evening includes a bake sale, Holiday pictures, book-fair and a 3rd grade performance.
 

Winter Book Fair Dec. 3rd - 7th

Our Library will be holding a winter book fair the week of Dec. 3rd. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00-4:00, Friday 8:00-12:00 and Late night Thursday from 5:00-7:00.

Believe Fundraiser Pick Up

The Fundraiser products are here! There are three opportunities for you to pick up your catalog orders: Tuesday, Oct. 30, 4pm-7pm; Wednesday, Oct. 31, 8:30am-10:30am; Thursday, Nov. 1, 4p-7p. The pick-up location is at the NPE school, on the cafeteria stage. Orders must be signed for and will not be sent home with students.

Monday - Start off Red Ribbon week by wearing Red Tuesday - Use your head, make helathy choices - Crazy Hair Day Wednesday - Show your character by wearing a costume of your favorite book character Thursday - Dream of a healthy world by wearing pajamas Friday - Show you can make SUPER helathy choices and wear a superhero shirt.

Literacy Night / Parent Involvement Event - October 23rd from 5:30pm-7:00pm

Believe Fundraiser - Sept. 10 - 28

Our Parent Action Team is sponsoring a Fall Fundraiser with Believe Kids. The money raised will go towards teachers grants, student incentives, family events and teacher appreciation week. There are numerous prizes available to students If your child sells 10 or more items, they will receive an adopt-a- pet. Check your child's backpack for the fundraiser packet.
