Cynthia Proctor, Principal, along with Day Strong, Assistant Principal, are filled with excitement as we look forward to smiling faces, rigorous instruction, and all around growth for our students so they can achieve their unique potential. NPE is staffed with the best of the best and we know without a doubt your student will excel in growing mentally, emotionally, and physically. We are ready to tackle this school year together as we become a united front with our staff, families, and community.

We're the only district in the country with a dedicated "Squirrel Crossing Guard" at Oakwood Elementary.

Our district's first schoolhouse was built in 1852 and is now a beloved local landmark.
